For the first time in nine years, Wichita State volleyball is off to a 3-0 start, earning them a No. 1 ranking in the American Athletic Conference’s week one poll.

WSU is just short of making the top-25 poll. Ranked at 26, the Shockers received 73 points in the AVCA Division I Coaches Poll.

Additionally, senior setter Emily Hiebert was named the American Offensive Player of the Week.
