SGA passes funding bills
The Student Government Association passed two funding bills at its meeting Wednesday.
The first funding bill gave money to two undergraduate students — Lindsey Carson and Lisa Ann Donner, to attend a conference in Atlanta, Ga.
Carson and Donner will present their research paper about firefighter suits.
The bill totaled $875 and allocated $437.50 to each student for registration, travel and lodging.
The second funding bill gave money to the International Student Union.
The bill allocated $180.52 for the organization to buy cricket equipment for their annual cricket tournament.
The money will buy bats, balls, equipment sets and new materials.
SGA meets again at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, in the Rhatigan Student Center, Room 256.
