News in Brief – Oct. 10

InterFest today on Heskett lawn

InterFest has returned once again.

The international food festival will take place today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the west lawn of the Heskett Center.

Organized by the International Student Union with the help of other organizations on campus, InterFest takes place once a semester and gives students the opportunity to sample food from around the world.

No school Monday or Tuesday

With today being the mid-term point of the semester, a break from the doldrums of class is imminent.

Monday and Tuesday is Fall Break at Wichita State, meaning there will be no classes either of the days.

Classes will resume as normal on Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Due to classes not being in session, The Sunflower will not publish on Monday, Oct. 15 but will return on Oct. 17.

Equality Forum tonight

Several campus groups will host an Equality Forum tonight from 7-9 p.m. in room 200 of Ahlberg Hall.

Feminists on Campus Uniting Students, That Gay Group, the Sociology Club, Equality in Action, the WSU Chapter of the NAACP Youth & College, and the Office of Multicultural Affairs are sponsoring the event.

Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
