Saturday carnival ideal for kids, families

Little kids may not be ideal for a regular day at Wichita State when students are studying and doing homework. This Saturday, however, children of all ages are invited to attend the Student Activities Council’s Fall Family Carnival.

The carnival is from 1-4 p.m. Tickets are 25 cents each, or five for $1. A free set of five tickets is available for download from the SAC website under the Family Carnival heading.

“The event is for the families of WSU students, staff, faculty and community members,” Avi Zacherman, SAC program adviser, said.

“We have inflatables and a petting zoo. We will also have superheroes wandering around, clowns, balloon art as well as food being sold that day,” Zacherman said.

The event will take place on the West Heskett Lawn.
