How to make a quick, delicious green drink
Green drinks are one of the trendy items that I actually partake in.
They seem to have steadily grown in popularity over the last year or so and can be a great way to get your daily intake of fruits and vegetables without eating any. However, the best way to get those nutrients is to eat some fruit and vegetables.
As that isn’t always an option, I’m here with a green drink recipe for you that will not only meet your need of fruit and veggies, but will also satisfy your taste buds.
What you’ll need:
1 apple
1 bunch of kale
1 lemon
1-inch piece ginger
1 cucumber
3 celery stalks
A handful of fresh mint
Blend everything together until you get a nice smoothie-like texture, and you should be good to go. Not only is it healthy, but it tastes great, too.
Bonus: for a sweeter drink with more fruit, add blueberries to the mix. The color may not come out as green, but your drink will be a little sweeter and have more fruit in it. Drink and enjoy.
