Nick Wiggins goes pro
Former Wichita State basketball player Nick Wiggins has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Germany.
He announced his future playing for the Walter Tigers, located in Tübingen, Germany, via his Twitter account.
“Today is the start of a new chapter in my life.. signing my first pro contract! my career is unfolding.. what a feeling! #thejourneycontinues,” Wiggins tweeted.
The Toronto, Canada native played for the Sacramento Kings summer league team this summer.
The Kings won the NBA’s Summer League tournament on July 21 in Las Vegas.
Wiggins averaged 5.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game his senior year for the Shockers and was named to the Missouri Valley Conference’s All-Bench Team as a junior.
