SGA passes funding bill, fills open positions
SGA passed one funding bill and filled several senate positions in a short meeting Wednesday.
The funding bill funded three organizations for $2,528.
The American Choral Directors Association received $800 for 35 members to attend and perform at a conference in Little Rock, Ark.
The American Institute of Graphic Arts received $750 for 18 members to attend a conference in Dallas.
The Student Association for Interfaith Dialogue received $978 for their friendship dinner and to invite a speaker to the event.
SGA appointed four at-large senators, a business senator, two supreme court justices and a legislative director.
For the last business of the meeting, SGA approved two organizations: the Association of Computing Machinery and the Wichita State University Linux Group.
SGA meets again at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Rhatigan Student Center, Room 256.
