Elizabeth King to retire from Wichita State Foundation
After more than 30 years leading the Wichita State University Foundation, Elizabeth King plans to retire, effective in six months, according to an email King sent to Foundation staff Friday morning.
King, president and CEO of the Wichita State University Foundation and Alumni Engagement, started at the university foundation as CEO in 1991, before adding the role of president in 2006.
Throughout her time at the foundation, King has raised the foundation’s assets, growing them from $54 million to over $420 million.
