Following threat, bomb devices not found at WSU

At 10:33 p.m. on Thursday, Wichita State students and other affiliates received a Rave Alert from the WSU Police Department. Forty minutes later, at 11:13 p.m., Wichita State released a press release saying no devices were found. At 12:46 a.m. on Friday, the all-clear was given.

According to the alert, sent via text and email, a “bomb threat” was reported at Wallace Hall and the Braeburn Square Starbucks on 4415 E. 21st St. The university police “completed a visual search of both premises.”
