A perfect late-night location for coffee, something sweet
The space is hidden, but expands to a variety of life, with a cool, jazzy atmosphere and helpful staff. Friday or Saturday nights at Mead’s Corner are great times to fight off late-night stomach grumbles that a 100-calorie bag of popcorn will not repel.
Though parking is a bit confusing, the food and drink at Mead’s Corner are worth it. The paninis are crisp and filled with top quality ingredients. If you do not enjoy meat, they have a tasty veggie option as well. Both the paninis and wraps offer the choice between an array of Mrs. Vickie’s chips or a salad on the side.
To calm your sweet tooth, Mead’s Corner has a large selection of bakery items. I bought the cinnamon roll with a six-inch diameter. To me, delicious cinnamon rolls are difficult to come by. I have been spoiled with the best of the best from Carriage Crossing in Yoder, Kan. Mead’s Corner definitely gives Carriage Crossing’s rolls a run for their money.
Coffees, teas, smoothies and glass-bottled sodas are also offered.
Overall, the pricing was fair, the service was excellent, the water was free, and the space was comfortable. Mead’s Corner is a perfect late-night location.
