Many students’ time at Wichita State is coming to a close this May. There are a few things graduating seniors should do before the May 16 and 17 graduation ceremonies.
Commencement for graduate students is on May 16, at 7 p.m. Ceremonies for undergraduate students are on May 17, scheduled by college. Students can find the full schedule here.
Graduates should check in at the Charles Koch Arena Ticket Office one hour before the ceremony.
All graduates must bring their printed grad pass to check in and keep it for when their name is called to walk across the stage.
Cap and gowns can still be purchased at the Shocker Store.
“It is strongly recommended to purchase your cap and gown by mid-semester, however, you do have the option to order up through the day of commencement,” an email sent on Monday to people graduating said.
