A Wichita State professor has been appointed interim dean of the College of Engineering. 

Steven Skinner, a professor of electrical and computer engineering, will begin June 9. 

The current dean, Anthony Muscat, will leave the position to become provost of California State University, East Bay. His last day is June 30.

Skinner previously served as interim dean from 2019 to 2020, according to the announcement from WSU. 

“He brings a steady, collaborative approach and a deep commitment to students and faculty, and to the mission of the university,” the announcement read.
