Wichita State’s Student Government Association (SGA) announced Monday that it is conducting an investigation into the International Student Union’s (ISU) election process.
In a statement posted to its Instagram, SGA announced the investigation was prompted by “several reports regarding concerns about the International Student Union elections and its process following its own constitution and bylaws.”
ISU held elections for president, vice president, treasurer and general secretary in May. Its 2025 executive board is composed of Dion Samuel, Sumit Singha, Abubaker Hafeez and Steve Adhikari.
On Tuesday, Dion Samuel, the president of ISU posted a screenshot of the SGA announcement post, saying “let’s see what this is about then.”
SGA is unable to share more information “to protect the integrity of the case” while it is active.
