Herds of Shocker fans crowded the Scottrade Center this weekend as the Wichita State men’s basketball team competed in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament in St. Louis, Missouri.

Day one against No. 8 Loyola went as planned for the Shockers with a 66-58 victory. WSU senior Ron Baker led with 25 points, followed by senior Fred VanVleet and freshman Zach Brown with 10 points each.

Day two of the tournament saw defeat for the Shockers with an overtime loss against No. 4 Northern Iowa, 57-52.
