Ananda Smith is a first-year sports reporter for The Sunflower. She is currently pursuing her master’s in the Elliott School of Communication at Wichita State University. With years of experience as the head copy editor for Derby Publications, Smith is now focused on a career in sports broadcasting. Smith has an internship with KAKE News and aspires to work for NBA Entertainment. She also teaches two public speaking courses at Wichita State. Smith uses she/her pronouns.
