Kevin Konda was named interim vice president for Student Affairs at Wichita State following the retirement of Teri Hall, according to a release by the university.
Konda currently serves as the director of the Rhatigan Student Center and the associate vice president of auxiliary services in the Division of Student Affairs. His role in Student Affairs included overseeing University Dining Services and the Childhood Development Center.
“I’m honored to continue the legacy of Dr. Teri Hall in the Division of Student Affairs and her vision of ‘connecting every student,’” Konda stated in WSU Today. “Our students are the lifeblood of Wichita State, and I am excited to uplift all Shockers as they work toward graduation.”
The search for a new vice president for Student Affairs is ongoing through the executive search firm Isaacson, Miller. Isaacson, Miller will select candidates, and a WSU search committee will make the final decision.
