Debates for the Student Government Association’s presidential tickets will be held in the Rhatigan Student Center, room 233, at 6 p.m. on March 26 and April 2.
Mason Fouquet and Jayden Island are the two candidates for student body president.
Fouquet is running with Nazanin Kasirosfar with the campaign slogan “every Shocker matters.” The pair is running on the platform of increased student involvement, enhanced communication and transparency, advocating for student resources and results.
Island is running with Anoushka Raju on a platform of community, transparency and resilience. Their campaign slogan is “a place for all of us.”
The debates will be livestreamed to SGA’s YouTube and The Sunflower’s Instagram.
The Sunflower is moderating the debates. Students can submit questions for the debate to [email protected]. Questions will be reviewed by The Sunflower’s editorial staff.
