The 2026 Student Government Association general election results were finalized on Friday, including three write-in winners for Student Senate seats. All three are current senators.
Erin Tims and Andrew Beam will be honors senators in the next session, which will have its first meeting on April 29. Tims is currently an honors senator and is a freshman studying political science, and Beam is an engineering senator for the current session and is a sophomore studying aerospace engineering with a minor in political science, according to his LinkedIn.
Ryan Taylor accepted his seat as an at-large senator, which was formerly known as the underserved senator seat. Taylor is currently a freshman senator and is studying political science.
The three senator-elects will join the 22 others to make a 25-person senate. That means 27 seats still sit empty.

You should do a school wide poll asking why people don’t join the Senate.
