Final Fest Music & Arts Festival 2019

Location: Urban Pop-Up Park

Final Fest is back for round two after absolutely rocking the block last year. Excellent music, food, vintage clothing, and art will all be rocking down at downtown Wichita’s Urban Pop-Up Park. Only a fool would miss out on all that greatness packed into one place.

MikroBrews Spring 2019

Location: The Donut Whole

Time: 6 – 9 p.m.

Cost: Free!

Wichita State’s own Mikrokosmos / Mojo literary magazine has been throwing excellent readings for years as part of its Mikrobrews series, and this Friday’s reading may top them all with guest readers Troy James Weaver, Jason Teal, and Mike Young. Come on down to see them read, and if you’re feeling brave, you can even grab five minutes on the open mic!

Delta Delta Delta Putt For a Cure

Location: Delta Delta Delta House (3912 East 21st Street North, #50)

Time: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Cost: $15

This 90s-themed putt putt charity extravaganza features a costume contest and food in addition to its thrilling mini golf course. Come with your team of five and have fun while supporting charity! All proceeds will go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Sign up online via the event’s Facebook page.

WSU MFA Poetry & Fiction Graduation Reading

Location: Ulrich Museum of Art

Time: 2 – 4 p.m.

Cost: Free!

WSU’s literature MFA students will be reading selections of their theses at the Ulrich Museum this Sunday. The event will feature a lovely selection of drinks and appetizers at the reception, which runs from 2 – 2:30 p.m., followed by poetry from Mariah Perkins and Aaron Rodriguez and fiction by Jessica Parke and Linsey Miller.
