Middle School Band Day in Miller Concert Hall today
The annual Middle School Band Day, hosted by the Wichita State School of Music and Senseney Music, Inc., is taking place until 4 p.m. today.
Band Day takes place in Miller Concert Hall inside Duerksen Fine Arts Center. This day of music allows middle school students an opportunity to play music alongside members of WSU bands.
Tickets for Band Day are free.

Brown Bag gallery tour at Ulrich Museum
Wichita State students have a chance to tour the fall exhibition, “Bruce Conner: Somebody Else’s Prints,” at the Ulrich Museum of Art today.
Students are asked to bring their lunch to eat on the sculpture terrace of Ulrich. After, they will join curator Jodi Throckmorton for a gallery tour of the exhibition.
The exhibition features nearly 100 works on paper spanning about 60 years.
The tour is free for WSU students and Ulrich Museum members. Tickets for the general public are $10.

Annual WSU baseball world series kicks off Friday
The annual Wichita State baseball Fall World Series begins at 2 p.m. Friday at Eck Stadium.
The series divides the roster into two teams, the black and gold.
Students can pick up free tickets with a WSU ID at the University Bookstore, Heskett Center, or the ticket office in Charles Koch Arena.
Tickets are $12 for field box, $10 for concourse box, $8 for chair back, $10 for outfield, $8 for adult grandstand, with a discounted price of $6 for children 2-12 and adults older than 65 and $5 for outfield.
