Student Involvement seeking banner judges

Faculty and staff are being sought to judge this year’s convocation banners.

Judges are needed between 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Convocation is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26. Lunch will follow the rally, and students will receive a free T-shirt afterward.

Purchasing parking permits made easier

Students looking to purchase a parking permit can now do so quicker and easier than before.

Students and others needing a permit are asked to go to room 201 of Jardine Hall, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Fridays.

Unlike before, permits can be purchased and picked up in one location.

Permits can also be purchased online at www.wichita.edu/parkingpermit, and can be paid with a credit card or webcheck.
