Staying in the lanes
Bowling in and for Wichita.
The city has a lot of bowling options with six bowling alleys in the city, all with a different feel.
The atmosphere at each one tells a lot about the people who bowl there, the amount of people that bowl there and why they are there.
The options are numerous, and the people who bowl at these centers agree that Wichita is a bowling city.
“The Wichita bowling community has incredible bowlers of all ages. The tournaments are always competitive, and the bowlers always show great sportsmanship,” WSU student and bowling patron Jack Steward said “All in all a great place to be a bowler.”
The bowling alleys are strategically placed, with West Acres, 749 N. Ridge Road, on the west side, Northrock Lanes, 3232 N. Rock Rock, on the north side, two on the south side, Seneca Bowl, 1909 S. Seneca, and Thunderbird Bowl, 2440 S. Oliver, and two on the east side, William H. Smith Bowling Center on the WSU Campus in the Rhatigan Student Center, and The Alley, 11413 E. 13th St. North.
These options give an opportunity to Wichita residents all around the city to get out on the lanes and have a good time.
