SGA in brief

Six members out in SGA election

Six members of the Students Unite party were disqualified by the Election Commission due to missing the required rules meeting.

Multiple meeting times were offered to discuss the rules within the election.

Both parties were required to attend before the start of campaigning, Sunday, April 7.

Students Unite presidential candidate Darren Beckham unsuccessfully appealed the ruling on Wednesday.

Although Chief Election Commissioner Olivia Sullivan says this ruling “will not cripple his chances of winning.” Beckham said his party will now “have an incomplete image.”
