For the third year in a row, students have the opportunity to showcase their skills for a chance to win prize money at the Shockers Got Talent event.
Applications for performers have already closed. According to Coordinator of Student Activities Jillian Belden, two people auditioned for the emcee role and 16 people auditioned for performances this year.
“All applicants were required to submit an application along with a performance video,” Belden said in an email. “The Shocker Night Life Committee carefully reviewed each submission, evaluating applicants across multiple criteria to select the final lineup of performers.”
Eight performers were selected by the committee, and Charles Modelski was chosen to be the emcee, or master of ceremony.
The show will be held in the Miller Concert Hall on April 2 at 7 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is free to students with a WSU ID, $5 for faculty and $8 for the public.
