The 2018 AP All-America Team was announced Tuesday morning.

Sophomore guard Landry Shamet was an honorable mention on the list—just the 10th Shocker to earn some form of individual honors from AP.

Shamet was the 2017-18 leading scorer for The Shockers averaging 14.9 points per game with a .489 field goal percentage. In addition, he averaged 3.2 rebounds and led The American with an average of 5.2 assists per game.

Shamet’s 2.5 assist/turnover ratio is also good for best in The American.

Cincinnati’s Gary Clark also received an honorable mention. Clark averaged 12.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks in 28.5 minutes in the 2017-18 season.
