The Portsmouth Invitational Tournament announced that senior center Shaquille Morris will play in the 2018 PIT via Twitter Monday morning.

The PIT consists of 64 of the top senior players from across the nation. The 12-game tournament runs from April 11-14 in Portsmouth, VA.

Playing in the PIT will allow Morris to play in front of professional scouts with representatives from all 30 of the NBA teams.

Morris recently participated in the 3×3 National Championship representing The American  last weekend, which got him more exposure to scouts.

Morris finished his senior season with first team All-American Athletic Conference honors and averaged 14.0 points and 5.6 rebounds in addition to leading The American in blocks (51).
