Letter to the editor: On Sunflower advertising

It is ironic that Thursday’s Sunflower (Sept. 3) had a front-page article on the “hijab informational discussion” to “increase understanding” and educate “the student population as well as the community about Islam,” while the back was a full-page ad for the musical “The Book of Mormon.” I guess only certain faith traditions deserve “understanding.” I wonder if The Sunflower would publish a paid advertisement for a Wichita performance of a show that mocked Islam?
