Shocker track makes noise at K-State
Wichita State men’s and women’s track teams both walked away with six titles over the weekend at Kansas State University’s Ahearn Fieldhouse indoor Track Open.
Last weekend was a big win for the team right before Conference Championships this weekend.
In the women’s hurdles and men’s throw, the Shockers finished 1-2-3.
Taylor Larch-Miller took first for the women’s team, finishing first in hurdles with a time of 8.74 seconds.
“It was my first hurdle race back after a knee injury,” Larch-Miller said. “It was a confidence booster to come back and win, but I’m definitely looking for an even faster time next weekend.”
Track will be back in action Saturday and Sunday in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
