WSU clubs give back to community

“Whether it’s donating hats and scarves to men and women, or adopting a child through Angel Tree, you name it,” Kleinsasser said.

Kleinsasser said it was hard to just give a few names of charities supported by the WSU community, because there are several.

He said the coat drive led by the Anthropology Club, Wu Crew which is leading a drive of hats, socks and scarves that will be given to people at the Lord’s Diner — and Angel Tree, which involves participants adopting a child to provide presents for Christmas.

The Angel Tree drop-off location is in Shocker Hall, and will be available until Dec. 12.

If you are interested in donating through the Lord’s Diner, you can make donations at Morrison Hall until Monday Donations for the Anthropology coat drive can be dropped off in the lobby of the RSC or in Neff Hall.
