Imagine the end of a perfect date of dinner and dancing. The feeling between both is of mutual love for one another, engaging acts of affection like hugging, kissing and petting. This is a typical set up inside the confines of a car in the parking lot, which is considered to be a sweet and affectionate way to express love for one another. 

This may require moving into the back seat for more comfort, which is where things can really go south when the idea of performing less than innocent sexual acts is considered. 

In this state with your hormones raging, it’s quite easy to lose your train of thought of the consequences that could occur if you are caught. 

If you are caught, the charge that you are facing is called public lewdness and it is a Class A misdemeanor in the state of Kansas, which you could serve up to a year of imprisonment and a fine up to $2,500. 

This doesn’t just apply for sexual acts performed in a car, but also anywhere that is deemed to be a public setting. Even though no one might be around, it’s best not to take chances, because you never know who may be watching you. Police officers are there to cite you for what law you’re breaking, but just imagine if it was a dangerous observer. 

Of course, this is all preventable by doing one simple thing; keep it private, preferably inside your own house or apartment. 

Although some may claim that this disrupts the feelings of affection and is more monotonous than in an environment like a car, it’s a safer environment and won’t be interrupted by someone tapping on the glass.

So, if you feel that your expression of love needs to go further than the typical hugging and kissing, don’t let your emotions get the best of you and remember that phrase of, “Get a room.” 

Facing a large fine and a prison sentence is no way to diminish the satisfaction gained by certain sexual acts, especially when it can be done in an area that’s more private and secluded from interference, which will make the perfect date you had all the more better.
