Wichita State announced that for the third consecutive year, the men’s basketball team will play a game at INTRUST Bank Arena. The Shockers will play The University of Southern Mississippi on Dec. 22.

The Shockers have won both games played at INTRUST Bank Arena, beating The University of Tulsa in 2010 and the University of Alabama-Birmingham last season.

The Golden Eagles of Southern Mississippi went 25-9 last season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before falling to Kansas State.

Tickets will not be included in season ticket packets, but season ticket holders will have first purchase priority through a presale. Ticket prices will start at $17 and go on sale to the general public in October. Tickets will be available for purchase online at www.selectaseat.com.
