Several months ago, Wichita State students were filmed to be featured on the Amazon Prime original TV show, ‘The College Tour,’ a TV show dedicated to showcasing universities across the United States, offering an inside look at each.
The episode is available to stream on Amazon Prime and was released on May 27. It was previously only on WSU’s website.
Filmed in September, the episode offers an inside look at Wichita State through the eyes of students on campus. According to the WSU Today announcement, the episode highlights “… WSU’s student-centered, innovation-driven mindset.”
The show has segments covering topics like Innovation Campus, WSU athletics, internships and applied learning, what it means to be a Shocker, an interview with President Rick Muma and specialized segments about each college on campus. WSU was the first Kansas university to be featured on the show, paying $188,000 for a one-hour segment.
