The Sunflower medallion has been found.
Christian Hurst, graphic design sophomore, poses with The Sunflower’s medallion. He found it around noon Friday.
The Sunflower Medallion was found around 12:30 this afternoon.
Christian Hurst, a sophomore studying graphic design, found the medallion near the 17th and Hillside corner of campus by the president’s house.
“I’ve been searching (WSU) with a fine-toothed comb,” Hurst said. “The clue today helped.”
Hurst said he looked for the medallion before going into work Friday morning.
“I didn’t find it, but I kept checking areas off the list.”
As for his plans for the $300 Shocker Store card, $100 Starbucks gift card and $100 in Shocker Dollars?
“My parents helped me research some of the bigger stuff, so the $100 Starbucks card is going to my dad,” Hurst said.
“I also have a plan to return all of the textbooks I bought this semester so I can buy them again with the (Shocker Store gift card).”
The Sunflower will provide the exact medallion location, and an explanation of our clues, soon.
