Shocker volleyball is still receiving votes in the AVCA Coaches Poll after losing back-to-back in games against two of the top teams in the country.

WSU suffered their first losses of the season to Stanford, who was No. 1 in last week’s poll, and No. 9 Brigham Young. BYU is now No. 3 and Stanford fell three spots to No. 4 after dropping one game. WSU has only played teams with 2017 postseason bids so far this season.

The Shockers will face another ranked opponent Sunday at No. 14 Creighton. Last year, in their home opener, WSU upset No. 8 Creighton in four sets.
