Letter to the editor: On campus safety

Thanks to the editorial board for the opinion piece in The Sunflower (Aug. 24). I found it to be timely, thoughtful and appropriate. I encourage all students to “seek accountability” and to keep asking questions and pursuing answers. As chair of the Enough is Enough! Inspire to Aspire Task Force, I will be working with faculty, staff and students to seek solutions and to move forward in “solving problems and taking action.” Together, I believe we can create energy and synergies that will truly make a difference on campus, in our neighborhoods and in our community. Let’s move forward together to make WSU the best place to study, work, learn and play.
