Brown Bag Discussion scheduled for today

A Brown Bag Discussion will take place today in RSC 256, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The topic of discussion is “Ferguson, Enough is Enough.”

Students are encouraged to bring lunch and an appetite for discussion.

Around the World Wednesdays to feature Andrea Luque Rojas

Andrea Luque Rojas will present “World Cup 2014: A Peaceful Effect on Colombian Society” today at 12:30 p.m., in the RSC 142.

Rojas will speak as part of The Cultural Ambassador Program’s fall 2014 ‘Around the World Wednesdays,’ which take place every Wednesday during the fall in the RSC.

Tallgrass Film festival to present ‘Best in Show’

Wichita State and the Tallgrass Film Festival are presenting the cult classic “Best in Show” Sept. 17.

Activities start at 7:15 p.m., and the movie will begin tonight at dusk at WSU’s Duerksen Amphitheater.

 

The many activities include a dog dress-up competition.

The WSU shuttle service will extend its hours for the movie showing until 10:30 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, coolers and well-behaved dogs.

The event is free and open to the public.
