Shocker sports radio shake-up

Any coach with tell you strength and consistency are two elements that help build the foundation of a good team.

Apparently that’s the foundation of sports radio, as well. Wichita State men’s basketball games are moving to KEYN, an FM station whose signal is stronger and more consistent.

Changes come on the heels of Shocker Sports Properties assuming full control of WSU’s multi-media rights,  previously held by BGM Sports Marketing.

On gamedays, Shocker students, alumni and fans alike can turn their radio dials to 103.7 FM or KNSS 1330 AM.

WSU baseball coverage will remain on KNSS’ broadcast while women’s basketball, volleyball and softball can all be caught on an Internet broadcast through goshockers.com.

All coaches shows are to remain on KNSS as well.

With Internet radio growing yearly and it being accessible from so many platforms WSU officials are confident fans will continue to listen to broadcasts regardless of the platform.
