Subway offering 3,333 sandwiches for highest 3-point scoring team

Subway is offering 3,333 sandwiches to the city of the team with the highest number of 3-pointers made throughout the NCAA tournament. The WSU men’s basketball team is in the running for having the highest number, currently in third place with 29 3-point baskets.

Currently the highest ranked team is La Salle at 34 3-pointers made. Michigan is in second place with 33 3-pointers made.

SGA offering charter bus to Atlanta

The Student Government Association is chartering a bus to Atlanta for a limited number of students going to the Final Four game. WSU searches spike

If you have felt like the Shockers have become a national interest suddenly you aren’t wrong. According to Google Trends, the number of people searching for Wichita, WSU and the Shockers has reached its highest point in the last 10 years. On Sunday, Wichita State was in the top ten searched-for terms on Google as well with more than 100,000 hits.
