WSU Baseball sets teams for the 2017 Fall World Series

The 2017 Wichita State Fall World Series draft took place Monday afternoon via Wichita State Baseball’s twitter account.

The Black Squad’s captains were Gunnar Troutwine, Chandler Sanburn, and Codi Heuer. Trey Vickers, Tyler Jones, and Adam Keller were the captains for the Yellow Squad.

The Black first round pick one was Luke Ritter. Greyson Jenista was the first round pick for Yellow.

Connor Lungwitz was drafted to the Yellow team in the second round, with Alec Bohm to the Black.

The Black Squad traded Preston Minor to the Yellow Squad for Travis Young.

The Fall World Series will take place November 2-4 at Eck Stadium.
