Todd Butler suspended for two games by NCAA
Wichita State baseball head coach Todd Butler will server a two game suspension after his ejection from Sunday’s game against UT Arlington.
Butler challenged an umpire’s call of a strike in the bottom of the 7th inning and was thrown out of the game.
The NCAA suspended Butler for “excessive arguing of balls and strikes,” according to a university press release.
He will miss the Shockers’ game at Missouri on March 13 and the first game of their series at Creighton on March 16.
