Shocker basketball signs Tevin Glass

The Shocker men’s basketball team has begun focusing on the recruitment process for the 2014-15 season. So far, the team has landed Northwest Florida State College’s forward Tevin Glass.

Glass, standing at 6-foot-8, averaged 12 points and snagged 5.8 rebounds a game during his sophomore year with the Raiders.

Glass is considered a replacement for one of four seniors — Cleanthony Early, Kadeem Coleby, Chadrack Lufile and Nick Wiggins — to make key plays in the paint.

No one has said where Glass will land on the depth chart for the upcoming season, but he will join returning key players Ron Baker, Fred VanVleet, Tekele Cotton and Darius Carter.
