Teri Hall named Vice President of Student Affairs

Upon the resignation of former Vice President of Student Affairs in June, Wichita State Provost Tony Vizzini led a search committee for a replacement.

Thursday the committee announced the decision by naming Teri Hall to the position.

Hall has served as associate vice president for Campus Life at Towson University since January 2005. Her position at WSU takes effect Jan. 8, 2017.

Hall has been on staff at Towson University since 1998.

“To say that I am thrilled by the opportunity to join the Wichita State University family is an understatement,” Hall said in a university release. “From my very first interactions with Wichita State, I felt at home.

“The campus is alive with energy and potential.”

Hall earned a doctor of philosophy in higher education administration from Indiana University in 1996. She also has a master of science degree in college student personnel from Western Illinois University and a bachelor of science degree in speech communication and public relations from Southern Illinois University.
