Wichita State beats Oklahoma Baptist in first Exhibition game of the season

Wichita State opened tipped off it’s first exhibition game with a 65-54 victory over Oklahoma Baptist. Forward Rengie Bessard led the Shockers in scoring with 22 points.
“We’re still learning how to work together and this was a great day to really figure out how far we’ve come,” said Bessard.
The Shockers shot 33 percent from the floor, 6-of-18 beyond the ark.
“We’re not a well oiled machine yet but we will be in time” head coach Keitha Adams said after the game.
Wichita State faces South Baptist Saturday in Koch Arena.
