Phi Delta Theta to support ALS cause this week

Members of the Phi Delta Theta, Kansas Delta hope to support the midwest chapter of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association.
ALS is a degenerative neurological disease that leaves victims immobile, unable to speak and eventually will claim their lives.
Students can support the cause from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Rhatigan Student Center.
Phi Delta Theta and the Chick-fil-A at Rock and Central are also partnering Thursday to raise funds for the ALS Association. Twenty percent of proceeds — with a mention of the cause — will be donated to the association.
The final event of the week is the Strike-Out ALS Softball Tournament Saturday evening.
Students interested in playing in the tournament can contact Dalton Glasscock at [email protected].
