Torgerson wins 2018 AAC Women’s Golf Championship
Women’s golf senior, Taryn Torgerson won the 2018 American Athletic Conference Championship Tuesday afternoon.

A closing 64 from Torgerson and three closing birdies from ECU’s Dorthea Forbrigd sent them into a playoff for first place in the 2018 AAC Women’s Golf Championship.
Torgerson won the individual title with a birdie on the first playoff hole.
Torgerson not only won the American Athletic Conference Championship, but also made American Conference history. She broke the American Championship single-round record by two strokes with a -8 round of 64.
She finished before the playoff round with a total score of 211 after scoring 70 in the first round, 77 in the second, and 64 in the final.
