Wichita State lost for just the sixth time at Koch Arena in the last six seasons. Erik Stevenson and Gregg Marshall were each assessed technical fouls.
Cincinnati turned a five-point lead into an 11-point lead. The Bearcats were put to the free throw line 35 times, and they made 25 in the victory. Cincinnati’s Jarron Cumberland and WSU’s Markis McDuffie each scored 18 points in the game.
