Madeline Deabler, Former advertising manager

Madeline Deabler was the advertising manager for The Sunflower. Deabler double majored in journalism and graphic design. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Deabler and her family moved to Wichita in 2007 after her father got a new job as a journalism teacher for Goddard Public Schools. Growing up with him as a father is one of the main reasons why Deabler decided to pursue an education in journalism.
